I apologize for the complete lack of posts--here and on the Food Blog--while we were in Eugene. It was a combination of being extremely busy, being on the road, having food poisoning, and just not wanting to bother. Proper recaps of the trip will follow, because while we didn't get nearly everything done or purchased that we wanted to, some good things happened to us. And some bad (see: food poisoning). But now, alas and alack, we are back home, which isn't quite so horrifying as I thought it might be, though it is rather cold in here (that's getting better, due to leaving the heat on to build up residual heat in the walls). And there wasn't any snow, which was a nightmare last year.
